Excelsior hosts annual Independence Day celebration
Thousands of people wrapped up their Fourth of July weekends in Excelsior Monday night with the city's annual fireworks display.
Don Shelby, who is building a home in Excelsior, served as emcee for the night, and the Minnesota Orchestra played for more than an hour in front of a commons area jammed with spectators.
