Gale Woods Farm Hosts Summer Camp Programs

The Three Rivers Park District's west-metro gem, Gale Woods Farm, is a busy place during August. 

Campers of all ages are discovering where their burgers, eggs and bacon really come from. Kids are dying wool, making soap and many other activites that help develop an understanding about a lifestyle that they may have only read about. Families come from all over the metro area to see, hear and, yes, smell what it's like to work and live on a family farm.

Camps include a pre-kindergarten Farm Adventures Camp for kids ages four and five, Adventures Camp for kids five to seven and a Farm and Wilderness Camp.
