The Excelsior Apple Day Apple Pie Eating Contest is sponsored by Cub Foods and Zydeco Design.

Excelsior Apple Day is Saturday, Sept. 7, and will feature locally-produced food, art, antiques, handicrafts and a good old-fashioned street dance. Two contests are being introduced this year: an Apple Pie/Dessert Baking Contest and an Apple Pie Eating Contest.
