As we celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Civil War, the Westonka Historical Society will show the movie “From Wasioja to Washington" on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Westonka History Museum at 5341 Maywood Rd (Mound City Offices) in Mound.
This locally-produced film about the men and boys from Wasioja and Dodge County in Southeastern Minnesota during the Civil War.
Will offer Civil War buffs and history buffs an opportunity to see the Minnesota historical relevance and contributions to the Civil War effort.
