NBA Stars Spotted on Lake Minnetonka, Reach for Ralph and Connecting With Patch

This week we are rolling out a feature that will highlight all sorts of things happening around town.

NBA Stars Frolic on Lake Minnetonka

Kevin Garnett has been spotted on Lake Minneotnka several times over the last few weeks. Garnett, who owned a mansion on the lake during his playing days with the Timberwolves, returns to the area regularly during the offseason. The New Jersey Nets acquired Garnett earlier this summer, ending his nearly decade-long tenure with the Boston Celtics.

Speaking of basketball stars and Lake Minnetonka, local product Kris Humphries—who was traded to the Celtics in the Garnett deal—has been spending the summer on his home turf wake surfing, paddle boarding and pleasure boating with friends. Humphries is scheduled to make $12 million for the 2013-14 season.
