Sun Soaker Thursday
Bayside Grill will welcome Cities 97 to Lake Minnetona today for the latest installment of the radio station's popular "Sun Soaker Thursdays." Cities 97 will broadcast live from 3-7 p.m., and a live performance from Chastity Brown will headline the afternoon.
Tonka Bay Street Work
Public Works will be patching streets on Lakeview Avenue on Thursday, July 25, and ask residents not to water their lawn or park on the street until Friday, July 26.

No registration is required. All ages are welcome. The Minnesota Zoo will bring a variety of animals. Plan your picnic before or after the show. The show runs about 45 minutes.

ORONO LIONS CARP FISHING CONTES The annual Orono Lions Carp Fishing Contest will take place this year on Saturday, Aug. 10, at Nelson Lakeside Park in Long Lake. Details:
Fish from 7am to Noon
Registration Starts at 6:00am/Shotgun start at 7:00am
Weigh-in by 12:15pm

Largest Carp $200
2nd Largest Carp $100
3rd Largest Carp $75
Smallest Carp $50
~Youth Division (12 & under)~
Largest Carp $50
Smallest Carp $50
* RULES
~All Carp entered caught by hook and line.
~$20.00 admission per adult (or youth in adult division).
~FREE for children under 12 years of age in the youth division.
~Tournament shirt or towel with entry and a chance for many door prizes!
