Laughing, cheering, and even groaning over the bad jokes is encouraged in "Santa Flunks Retirement", a fun-filled comedy performed by Maple Grove Players. In the show, Santa is overwhelmed by today's technology, the reindeer arguments, and especially by his feeling that he is no longer respected. As a result he is strongly considering retiring. He receives advice from his visitors: the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny three elves, and his wife, Clara Clause. Lunch follows: roasted pork loin with creay Gorgonzola sauce, mashed potatoes, candied carrots, holiday pumpkin mousse.
