I recently had the opportunity to meet Terri and Paul of Sovereign Estate Wine in Waconia and WOW! What a beautiful setting! The drive out Hwy. 7 and 155 south is amazing—such beautiful green corn fields and then Lake Waconia from this side it looks so huge. 

This property is set right on the northern part of the lake with vineyards overlooking the lake. Horses,gardens and a swing hanging from the trees. 

It feels as if I have stepped into a storybook vineyard set in the South of France.

The tasting room is straight out of France. Bright red walls with Black accents. So perfect for the tastings for $5 and the wine pairings for $10.
