(Update): Winter Weather School Closings and Late Starts
Snow and ice woes around Lake Minnetonka cause cancellations and late starts for Westonka, Orono, Wayzata, and Minnetonka public schools.
The came with morning cancellations and late starts for area schools.
Orono Public Schools: All schools are closed today. High school sports and all community education programs are also canceled.
Wayzata Public Schools: All schools are closed today.

Westonka Public Schools: Schools will start two hours late due to severe weather and road conditions, according to a Westonka schools announcement. Morning kindergarten is canceled. Adventure Club will start at 8:55 a.m.
Update 7:25 a.m.: Due to the icy roads and power outages Westonka Public Schools are now closed. After school activities and Adventure Club are also canceled.

Minnetonka Public Schools: While Explorers Club will have it's normal start time, schools will start two hours late. Morning kindergarten, preschool morning classes, and early childhoold family education are cancelled. All field trips are also cancelled.
