This B. Gainer from San Francisco. My most memorable experience of Whitney Houston was Christmas of 1992 after the release of the "Body Guard". As I shopped downtown San Francisco and the surrounding (3) shopping malls I heard Black, White, Latino and Asian children as well as adults attempt to sing "I'll Always Love You". It was some type of phenomenon going on. Everybody was singing that song. People would stop and attempt to hit the high notes toward the end of the song. Whitney's voice crossed cultural and generational lines. I love you, Whitney.
