New Deephaven Woods Senior Living Facility Breaks Ground

St. Therese Catholic Church has partnered with Ebenezer Society to form St. Therese Senior Living, LLC, a joint venture that will build Deephaven Woods.

Deephaven Woods Senior Living, a new senior living community located on the campus of The Church of St. Therese in Deephaven, has broken ground. St. Therese Catholic Church has partnered with Ebenezer Society to form St. Therese Senior Living, LLC, a joint venture that will build Deephaven Woods. 

Deephaven Woods Senior Living, which is expected to open by the spring/summer of 2014, fulfills the Church of St. Therese’s desire to further its mission by providing a housing option to the region’s growing senior population. The project will be built by Kraus-Anderson, one of the Midwest’s oldest and largest commercial general contractors and construction managers.  

Deephaven Woods Senior Living will be managed by Ebenezer Management Services, which will provide daily operational and management services.

The new senior living community is located on a 14-acre site, part of the church’s 26-acre campus. The two-story development consists of 78 units of independent, assisted living, memory care and Care Suite apartments, and is enhanced by onsite amenities including a chapel, heated, underground parking garage, an expansive two-story lobby and outdoor patios, porches, gardens and walking paths.

Ebenezer Society and The Church of St. Therese will host a Ground Blessing for the community on Sunday, June 2, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Church of St. Therese (18323 Minnetonka Blvd., Deephaven).

The Deephaven Woods project is another in a long-term partnership between Kraus-Anderson and Ebenezer Management Services.  Ebenezer Society (www.FairviewEbenezer.org) is an experienced provider of senior housing and community centered care for older adults since 1917.
