Updated: Tuesday Morning Crash in Orono Kills One
State patrol says Oakdale man's car careened into oncoming traffic and was broadsided by a semi.

Authorities have formally identified the driver killed in this morning's accident on Hwy. 12 near the Long Lake/Orono border.
Bruno Sagnweu, 37 of Oakdale, was driving a 1992 Honda Accord westbound on Hwy. 12 when the car lost control around 6:45 a.m. near County Road 6. Sagnweu's car struck a roadside wall and veered into oncoming traffic, where it was broadsided by a semi truck, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Highway 12 near the border of Orono and Long Lake was shut down in both directions following the crash and remained closed nearly three hours later. Traffic was being detoured around the scene via Wayzata Boulevard West.
The road closure caused significant delays during this morning's rush hour.
Road conditions were wet at the time of the accident, and the crash is being described as a broadside.
The State Patrol has identified the driver of the semi truck as 60-year-old Dale Poirie of Dassal, MN. Poirie did not suffer any apparant injuries, according to the State Patrol.
First responders from a variety of departments were dispatched to the scene, including the Long Lake Fire Department, Orono Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol and an air care unit.
