Excelsior Fire Will Hold Training Tonight At Manor Park
The exercise will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at 20630 Manor Road.
The City of Shorewood is working in cooperation with the Excelsior Fire District to conduct a training exercise tonight, March 22, 2012, at Manor Park, 20630 Manor Road.
The Excelsior Fire District will be conducting building search and rescue techniques inside the Manor Park Picnic Shelter, by using an artificial smoke generator. The smoke that is generated is non-toxic.
The Fire District will also utilize a pump truck and hose to discharge water from the municipal water system. The water discharged will be used outside the warming house structure.
It is anticipated that the training session will last from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
